Alimannao Hills, PeΓ±ablanca Cayagan– The highly anticipated Cine Agila Awards Night, held on February 28, 2025 at the MCNP-ISAP Gym, was a star-studded event that celebrated the talents and creativity of the studentry. With a theme β€œYears of Excellence, Soaring Higher-Where Bigger Dreams Begin”, the night was filled with glitz, glamour, and heartfelt recognition for both established and emerging student filmmakers.

The evening kicked off with a dazzling red carpet arrival, with actors, editors, and directors gracing the event. As the evening progressed, excitement built for the main event – the awarding ceremony that would honor the foundation day’s best films, performances, and technical achievements.

The coveted Best Picture award was bagged by the Green Panthers with their film entitled β€œParbangon,” directed by Princess Althea WaΓ±a, who also clinched the Best Director award. Green Panthers’ Romea Kate Lascota, also landed in the Best Actress Award with her outstanding performance.

Meanwhile, Pink Falcon’s β€œSa Bawat Sandali” brought home the most awards, as follows: Best in Production Design, Best in Musical Scoring, Best Film Editing, Best Story, and Blockbuster Film with an overall 1,295 viewers. Pink Falcon’s Vince Bagaoan also won the Best Supporting Actor, as well as Marie Lacangan securing the Best Actress for her excellent execution of her role.

Furthermore, Gunita of the Blue Shark brought home Best Poster. Best Trailer was given to the Red Scorpion’s Taguyod, while Krisha Silas of Yellow Tiger’s Silaw grabbed the Best Supporting Actress. Meanwhile, Josh Mayandoc of White Panda’s Tulay achieved the Best Actor Award.

The night wasn’t just about awards; it also served as a reminder of the power of cinema in bringing communities together and sparking meaningful conversations about culture, values, and current issues of today’s world.

With a powerful mix of recognition, celebration, and passion for the craft, the 2025 Cine Agila Awards Night proved once again that the MCNP-ISAP Student body is thriving and continues to produce world-class talent, excellence, and stories that resonate both locally and nationally.
