The College of Nursing of the Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP), in partnership with Global Health Education Services LLC, successfully conducted a Faculty Enrichment Program on February 23, 2025, via Zoom. This initiative is part of the college’s Internationalization at Home (IaH) program, which aims to integrate global best practices into nursing education.

The event featured Dr. Jhordinn James C. Montegrico, PhD, RN, CMSRN, Vice-President for Academics & Success University at Global Health Education Services LLC and Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA. He delivered a comprehensive lecture on Teaching Strategies and Evaluation in Nursing Education, equipping MCNP nursing faculty with innovative teaching methodologies, assessment techniques, and evidence-based approaches to enhance nursing instruction.
With active participation from faculty members and clinical instructors, this international collaboration underscores MCNP’s commitment to academic excellence, continuous professional development, and global competency. By fostering partnerships with international institutions, the College of Nursing continues to elevate its standards, ensuring that both educators and students are well-prepared to navigate the evolving global healthcare landscape.
