The School President

Christian R. Guzman, Ph.D

Dr. Christian Roa-Guzman, Ph.D. serves as the President of the Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) and the International School of Asia and the Pacific (ISAP). He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cagayan Valley, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Education major in Educational Management from the same institution. He was formally installed as School President in June 2024 after serving as Officer-in-Charge President since 2018.

As an educator and leader, Dr. Christian Guzman champions academic excellence, research, innovation, and internationalization. Under his leadership, MCNP and ISAP have strengthened academic programs, expanded research initiatives, enhanced faculty development, modernized learning facilities, and established strategic partnerships that promote global competitiveness and student success.

Beyond academia, Dr. Christian Guzman actively contributes to regional development as Co-Chairperson and Private Sector Representative for Health, Education, and Manpower Development of the Regional Development Council (RDC) Region II. He also serves in various civic, educational, and environmental organizations, reflecting his commitment to community service, sustainable development, and nation-building.

Guided by the founding vision of MCNP and ISAP, Dr. Christian Guzman continues to lead the institutions in producing competent, compassionate, and globally competitive professionals while upholding their mission of accessible and transformative education.
