September 9, 2025 – The Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) and the International School of Asia and the Pacific (ISAP) took another step toward innovation and global readiness as they welcomed officials from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region 2 and Everise Philippines for a partnership meeting today.

Engr. Pinky T. Jimenez, Ph.D., Regional Director of DICT Region 2, and a representative from Everise Philippines, met with the MCNP-ISAP President, Dr. Christian R. Guzman, administrators, and faculty to explore collaborative initiatives in the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector and teacher development.

The discussions centered on creating pathways to prepare students and graduates for promising careers in the BPO industry through intensive training, capability-building, and strengthened industry linkages. At the same time, the proposed partnership also seeks to uplift educators, particularly language teachers, by equipping them with specialized training and advanced communication programs that ensure their global competitiveness.

Furthermore, DICT Region 02 – Cagayan Valley, Everise Philippines, and MCNP–ISAP expressed their intent to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize the collaboration. The agreement will institutionalize initiatives that enhance student employability, empower teachers, and contribute to the socio-economic growth of the region through ICT and language excellence.

This joint endeavor reflects the shared commitment of MCNP–ISAP and its partners to provide transformative opportunities for both students and faculty, arming them with essential skills to thrive and lead in the global arena.
