The Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) strengthened its internationalization efforts with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Tenma Hospital Group of Japan and NL Management Consultancy Service on January 17, 2026, at the MCNP–ISAP HMTM Complex.

MCNP was represented by Dr. Christian R. Guzman, President, and Atty. Cristina Guzman-Natividad, DBM, Vice President for Innovations and External Initiatives. The agreement with the Tenma Hospital Group, led by Dr. Jin Tenma, marks a significant step in expanding global collaboration in healthcare education.

The partnership was facilitated by Mr. Hiroshi Nakata, Philippine Representative of the Tenma Hospital Group. Also joining the collaboration was NL Management Consultancy Service, represented by Mr. Naoyuki Yamaguchi and Ms. Liza Yamaguchi.

Supported by nursing administrators led by Dean Nina Paracad, the MOA centers on a Cultural Immersion and Workplace Exposure Program in Japan for MCNP nursing students, aimed at enhancing professional skills and global competence.

The partnership aligns with MCNP’s commitment to nursing excellence, highlighted by its Level III PACUCOA Accreditation, and supports the institution’s vision of global engagement and graduate employability.
