Peñablanca, Cagayan – The Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) and International School of Asia and the Pacific (ISAP), under the leadership of School President Dr. Christian R. Guzman, formally requested the endorsement of the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 02 (CHED RO2) for the special meeting of the newly organized Higher Education Association of Region 2 (H.E.A.R.T.) on January 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM via Zoom.

In a letter addressed to CHED RO2 Director IV Julieta M. Paras, Ph.D., Dr. Guzman emphasized the significance of this meeting in reinforcing the agreements set during the organizational meeting held on November 6, 2024. The session aims to foster collaboration among school executives and strengthen higher education initiatives in the region.

Dr. Guzman, who also serves as Co-Chairperson of the Regional Development Council, invited CHED RO2 officials to participate in the discussion, highlighting their valuable insights in shaping the direction of H.E.A.R.T. and advancing higher education in Cagayan Valley.

With the active involvement of educational leaders and policymakers, the initiative is expected to drive meaningful progress toward academic excellence and institutional cooperation in the region.
