To reinforce the research capabilities of educators and promote scholarly work fit for international publication, the ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ถ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ฐ (๐ช๐ฏ๐ฌ๐ซ-๐น๐ถ2) launched the faculty development workshop titled โ๐น๐จ๐ฐ๐บ๐ฌ: ๐พ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐
๐ฉ๐๐๐
๐๐๐โ on July 22, 2025, held at the HTM Complex of the Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines and International School of Asia and the Pacific (MCNP-ISAP).
This initiative serves as part of CHED-RO2โs continuing commitment to enhance the quality of higher education institutions in Region II by equipping faculty members with the necessary tools and mindset to pursue high-impact, internationally recognized research.

The program commenced with an acknowledgment of the presence of participating educators, institutional representatives, and invited guests. Furthermore, a welcome message was delivered by MCNPโISAP President Dr. Christian R. Guzman, who expressed his gratitude to CHED Regional Office II for choosing MCNPโISAP as the host institution for this significant undertaking. He acknowledged the presence of institutional leaders and participants from across Region II and emphasized the shared responsibility of higher education institutions in advancing research, innovation, and internationalization. Dr. Guzman also proudly shared MCNPโs recent recognition as one of the countryโs top-performing nursing schools, attributing this achievement to the institutionโs ongoing pursuit of academic excellence and meaningful collaboration. He encouraged all participants to view the workshop as an opportunity to write with purpose, contribute to global scholarship, and foster cross-border academic engagement.

Throughout the day, participants attended a series of insightful sessions facilitated by experts from the academic and government sectors. Topics revolved around aligning research with regional and national priorities, understanding the characteristics of high-impact research, and exploring the foundations of successful international publication. The sessions offered practical strategies, guidelines, and motivation to encourage participants to elevate the quality of their research work.
