Quezon City – The Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) and the International School of Asia and the Pacific (ISAP) joined the 10th Anniversary celebration of the Confucius Institute at the University of the Philippines Diliman (CIUPD) on September 30, 2025, at the UP Theater, Quezon City.
MCNP-ISAP was represented by Dr. Christian R. Guzman, President, and Atty. Cristina G. Natividad, Vice President for Innovation and External Initiatives.
The event, headed by Dr. Lourdes M. Tanhueco-Nepomuceno, Director of CIUPD, was also attended by UP officials, former UP Chancellor Michael Tan, representatives from the Chinese Embassy, and officials from Xiamen University.


The program highlighted the strong partnership between CIUPD and schools in Cagayan, including MCNP and ISAP, particularly in Mandarin language training, cultural exchange, and academic cooperation.

By joining this milestone celebration, MCNP and ISAP reaffirm their commitment to global learning, cultural appreciation, and building academic linkages that prepare students and faculty for a more connected world.
