MCNP, ISAP commemorate Doc Ronald; New building blessed
The Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) and International School of Asia and the Pacific (ISAP) commemorated its late founder and first president, Dr. Ronald P. Guzman on his 3rd death anniversary through a Eucharistic mass, and wreath laying ceremony last November 4, 2021 in two venues, MCNP – ISAP and Sanctuary of Peace Cemetery, respectively.
During the introduction before the mass, it was reminded that prayer is the best gift that they can offer to the late Dr. Ronald P. Guzman.
“We have gathered here not so much to talk about our beloved Dr. Ronald Guzman, but to pray for him. We believe that our prayer can help where he is now. We know that prayer is powerful, and we believe it can help our departed by praying for them. The best gift that we can give to our father eagle, as we call him, is to pray for him.”, read by Aristotle Gonzales, MAEd, Dean, Office of the Student Services.
He also emphasized that prayer has a lasting value and it is therefore their humble gesture as they gathered as one family for Dr. Ronald.
The said endeavor was attended by Board of Trustees, headed by the senior board member and wife, Dr. Wilma Roa – Guzman, together with their four children: MCNP – ISAP OIC, President, Christian Guzman, MBA; Apayao – Cagayan Medical Center (ACMC) Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Christopher Mark Guzman, MHA; Dr. Ronald P. Cristina Guzman – Natividad, MBA, and their spouses, grandchildren, administrators, college deans and program coordinators, faculty members, and administrative staff of MCNP and ISAP.
Meanwhile, the new building – MCNP Building C, was also blessed after the Eucharistic Mass. The College of Physical Therapy (CoPT), College of Radiologic Technology (CoRT), College of Medical Laboratory Science (CoMLS), and College of Pharmacy (CoPh) will occupy the new building.
