MCNP, ISAP celebrate World Teacher’s Day

Celebrated on October 5 every year, both institution of Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines and International School of Asia and the Pacific commemorated the tireless efforts and strong commitment of teachers in keeping the learnings going as the COVID-19 pandemic affected the traditional method of education in the country.

Anchored on the theme “Teachers: Leading in Crisis, Re-imagining the Future,” the event started with an online seminar for teachers about being positive in the work place, followed by the culminating activity through Facebook (FB) live.

Mr. Christian R. Guzman, the OIC, President of MCNP-ISAP stated in his message that over the years, teachers served as inspiration, guide and bearer of hope among the mighty eagles. 

“MCNP and ISAP made it through in the previous year because you choose to be with us and open to embrace the challenges of the new normal education while you force to shift to remote and distance learning in utilize available educational technologies to innovate your strategies and pedagogical approaches to maintain to be formators that you want you to be.”

Although Teacher’s Day itself looked a little different this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, staffs and teachers continue to relished the opportunity to show their ability and skills through online contested activities.  – Joan Santiago
